The neutral colors are perfect; the beige fabric shade is easy to wipe clean, and the black base complements it nicely. It’s a simple design, exactly what I was aiming for. I bought these lamps for my parents during their visit since they mentioned my house was too dark. They both tried them out and really loved them! There are three light settings, and you can adjust them to point in the direction you want. The options include a soft light, white light, and bright light. Assembly was a breeze. The only drawback I’ve noticed is the floor switch; if you place the lamp near furniture, you may need to position the switch on a nearby table for easier access.

I couldn’t be happier with this lamp! It adds a stylish touch to my living room and functions beautifully. The three light settings are a fantastic feature. I noticed some comments about the bulb housing being visible above the shade, but I solved that by flipping the shade on the frame, and now it looks perfect, as shown in the photo. The only minor downside is that I wish the foot switch was located closer to the plug. It’s positioned nearer to the base, which makes it a bit short when used in a corner like mine. While I can still reach it, having it further down the cord would make it much more convenient. I would definitely buy this again.

I assembled my lamp and noticed that the plastic rings meant to conceal the screw connections didn’t fit properly, so I ended up discarding them. When I moved on to the shade, I found that it wasn’t constructed well—please see the photos! It’s also quite flimsy, requiring careful handling to avoid creasing while attaching it to the frame. However, the rest of the lamp is very nice.

I really like this lamp so far; I just set it up half an hour ago. The base is nicely weighted, the design is appealing, and the shade is decent even though it’s not preassembled. From the pictures, it seems many people assembled their lampshades incorrectly: the part with the spokes and circle should be facing down towards the inside of the shade, not up. If it’s positioned incorrectly, the frame will show over the top and look awkward. The first thing I did was discard the included light bulb and use one of my own. The original bulb tends to overheat and has varying brightness levels that are frustrating to cycle through. Plus, most settings resemble that harsh daylight bulb, which is more suited for garages or outdoor security lights. It’s just easier to use your own bulb. Fortunately, LED light bulbs are very affordable, and many energy programs give them away.
