This one is dimmable and very user-friendly; assembling it was a breeze. I would have rated it 5 stars if it hadn’t arrived with a noticeable factory defect on the lamp shade. The photo shows two stickers marking the tear, which was present when we first put it together. We tried contacting the manufacturer for a replacement shade but couldnât reach anyone. Our only choice was to return the entire lamp, which we wanted to avoid since it was already assembled and in use. My advice to potential buyers: inspect every part before assembly to ensure everything is in good condition! Despite this issue, we really love the lamp and would recommend it.

I bought this lamp to replace a halogen torchiere light in my small living room. It arrived quickly in a surprisingly compact box. Assembly was straightforward once I figured out that there were small plastic rings on the threads that needed to be removed (this wasnât mentioned in the instructions, and I clearly havenât unboxed many lamps before!).
Pros: excellent price; prompt delivery; simple assembly; the offset pole fits perfectly in the corner behind my recliner; I really like the dimmer switchâitâs user-friendly and can get quite bright when needed; it provides nice downcast light for reading. A note for those replacing an upward-facing light like I did: even though the top of the shade is open, the upward light cast will be considerably less than with a torchiere, so it may take some time to adjust to the change in light quality. This lamp offers more focused lighting. I added some table lamps around the room to ensure all areas are well-lit.
Cons: Iâm not a fan of Edison bulbs, so I replaced the one it came with for an LED; Iâm uncertain about the white lampshadeâitâs more of an aesthetic choice, but I can easily change it in the future.
Overall, Iâm very satisfied with this purchase. Itâs a great light for the price.
