The light is quite bright for this purpose, so we replaced the bulbs with dimmer ones, but they still emit a lovely glow. It’s also very convenient that they come with two USB ports for charging your phone, tablet, or watch.

This lamp is absolutely fantastic! It’s worth every penny. I purchased it because I really dislike overhead lighting. To put it simply, I’ve been carrying this lamp around the house because I love it so much! 😂 I ended up ordering two more, which should be arriving tomorrow. One for each side of our bed to serve as our charging stations and spots for our water bottles and other bedside essentials. Plus, it provides great light for my work-from-home setup during the day. I also got one for the living room. My husband initially hesitated, but he loves it too and keeps thanking me for ordering it!
I paired it with the Philips dimmable multicolor smart bulb, which I control through the Wiz app on my iPhone. I can change the color, set it as a nightlight, and schedule it to turn on at a specific time—like having a soft light gradually brighten to help me wake up.
The lamp itself is definitely worth the investment, but I highly recommend using it with the Philips smart bulb. They make an incredible combination. I just wish I had purchased this lamp and the bulbs sooner! It’s sturdy, sleek, and extremely functional. It takes up much less space than a traditional nightstand, and the charging ports are a fantastic bonus. It’s especially perfect for our small apartment in the greater NYC area—multi-functional and space-saving. It transforms the ambiance of a small space that might otherwise feel cramped and static, especially with a full-spectrum dimmable bulb.

It’s surprisingly sturdy; my German Shepherd knocked it over while barking at the window, and it’s still holding up strong! It has a classy appearance, and I absolutely love it!
