I noticed a reviewer gave this lamp 4 stars, claiming you can’t pair the remote with two lamps simultaneously, but that’s not true! You absolutely CAN pair the remote with two lamps at once! Just aim the remote towards the center of both lamps and hold the button until it starts flashing to pair. The angle and position of the remote are crucial for signaling both lamps. I felt it was important to share this because I don’t want anyone to miss out on this fantastic lamp due to misinformation.
Once both lamps are paired, there’s something you should know. I’ve encountered situations where activating the remote only turned on or off one lamp, which can be a hassle. I’d often be at an awkward angle when this happened, so I can’t stress enough that the remote’s angle and position are key—otherwise, you might find yourself turning one lamp on while the other goes off!

If you do have that issue, try holding the power button for about a second while moving your hand to a different position to activate the other lamp. It sounds silly, but it works! Alternatively, if you’re still having trouble, you can manually use the footswitch for one lamp, use the remote for the other, and then press the footswitch again to make sure both lamps are on or off together.
Also, be cautious: if you press the power button too fast, you may accidentally unpair the lamps from the remote, so take your time when pressing it.
As for pairing three or more lamps, I haven’t tried it yet, but I think it should work as long as they aren’t too close together to avoid interference. If that’s the case, it’s better to use their designated remotes.

If you’re on a different floor with the same lamps, be aware that you might accidentally pair them. I had a funny incident when my mom complained about the living room lamp malfunctioning, only to realize I was turning it on and off from upstairs! It happened more than once! To fix this, just use the footswitch to pair them correctly, as outlined above.

I find this lamp’s design to be timeless and a beautiful addition to my home. I have two in my room, and I love the five modes that let me adjust the lighting as needed. As someone sensitive to light temperatures and brightness, this lamp helps create the right mood and focus in my bedroom/work space. The lowest brightness with the warmest temperature is soothing for my eyes at night and in the mornings. The cooler temperatures also allow me to take better photos without that annoying yellow tint from typical indoor lighting. While there’s a bit of wobble in the pole, it’s not a concern for me as I don’t have pets.
Overall, it was easy to assemble, and the remote, measuring about 6″x1.5″, has practical functions. I even added silicone bumpers to the back so it wouldn’t clank against things. Sometimes I wish it were a bit brighter, but for a bedroom or living room, it’s an excellent choice. I might look into higher wattage compatible bulbs for even brighter light and will update if I find anything when the current bulbs eventually need replacing. Thankfully, I haven’t had to change them in the two years I’ve owned them!
Overall, I absolutely love this lamp and highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a functional, stylish floor lamp with decent brightness and a handy remote. The lamp arrived just as shown in the pictures! Unfortunately, the packaging was not very sturdy, and the box had a considerable hole in it, about the size of a dessert plate. I was worried it might have damaged the lamp, but upon inspection, all the pieces were intact. Assembly is straightforward, and the remote functions well, providing all the features the lamp offers. The dimming option is a nice touch, and it even includes batteries for the remote. I do wish the torch was made of glass instead of hard plastic. Overall, it’s a solid lamp that provides adequate lighting, though don’t expect it to be extremely bright. The on/off foot button is convenient, and I simply use an Alexa plug to power it on.

…for a funeral home! No, really! I’m someone who feels at peace with the afterlife. I actually love the look of this floor lamp. It’s simply and sturdily constructed, and assembly was a breeze. This lamp is a stark upgrade from my previous floor lamps (which I found an old photo of)—may they rest in peace. Here’s the story: my old lamps were vintage pieces donated by the Northern Veteran’s Alliance in my state. As a Navy veteran, I appreciated them and even bought nice drum shades to enhance their look. They were great but made of heavy metal, and one of them broke at the base. Fixing it would require welding, which wasn’t an option, so I was left with just one lamp. That’s when I ordered two of these new lamps. Ironically, the second lamp developed an electrical issue that same week, so it also had to go.
My neighbor has two pewter-colored table lamps, and my drum shades fit them perfectly, improving on the slim linen shades they originally had. I was glad they found a good new home.
