Update: The company SUNMORY Lamp has been very accommodating. Initially, they sent me a new lampshade, which unfortunately had the same issue as the previous one. After exchanging a few messages and sending some videos, they generously sent me a completely new floor lamp at no cost. This lamp is perfect—the clamps holding the shade are very sturdy and secure it well. Even if I accidentally bump into it, the shade stays in place and doesn’t slip out of the clamps. I sincerely thank SUNMORY Lamp for their excellent customer service. I highly recommend this company. TOP SERVICE.
While the floor lamp is beautiful, the shade’s attachment is quite poor. The clamps that attach to the frame are too small and do not hold properly. If I accidentally touch the shade, it can easily fall off since the clamps don’t grip well enough. Other than that, the floor lamp is lovely; I just have to be careful to avoid anyone bumping into the shade.

However, I really wish it had manual controls; it only comes with a basic on/off foot switch, which is disappointing. About six months in, the bulb and remote stopped working, although I could still turn the lamp on and off. Unfortunately, none of the troubleshooting tips helped, and since the bulb and remote are paired, I had to replace both parts (come on, Sunmory! This feels wasteful!).
On the bright side, Sunmory’s customer service is outstanding. They were polite, helpful, and responsive. After guiding me through some additional troubleshooting, they sent me a replacement bulb and remote for free. Is this a long-term fix for the product’s issue? Not really. But the interaction was surprisingly pleasant, and I’m glad I’ll get to enjoy this lamp a bit longer.

After about a year, the lightbulb burned out. I thought it would be an easy fix, so I replaced the bulb. However, the remote stopped working to turn the lamp on and off. I tried all the pairing methods but had no luck. It turns out that each lightbulb is paired with a specific remote. I reached out to customer service at [email protected], and they responded the next day with a few questions. I just provided my order number and shipping address, and within a week, I received a new bulb and remote. After changing the remote batteries and replacing the bulb, everything is now working perfectly.
