I currently own seven of these lamps and have another on the way. They are simple to use and easy to assemble, providing a bright output from the top, bottom, or both simultaneously. One light setting resembles traditional incandescent bulbs, while the other mimics natural sunlight.
Stability: Be sure to tighten everything thoroughly. I stood on the base and twisted the tubes until there was no slack left. Their stability is comparable to my two other LED lamps from different brands. Unless you have kids swinging on them while racing around, they should remain upright.
Touch Switches: My mom struggled to turn these on and off, opting to use the remote instead. I never had an issue. After some experimentation, I realized she was performing long presses while I was using short taps. When I tried long presses, the switches didn’t respond. It turns out that all the lamps I have require quick taps. If you find it challenging to operate them at the pole, just give short, quick taps a try.
Remotes: The remotes are excellent; they are magnetic and attach easily to the lamp pole. Pairing and unpairing them is straightforward. Just ensure that only the lamp you want to pair is plugged in, pair it, then unplug it before pairing the next one.
1-Hour Timers: I’m not even sure how the timer functions, but I don’t need it, so I haven’t looked into it. I was initially concerned that these lamps would turn off unexpectedly, as some reviewers mentioned, but mine have never done so. I might read the manual someday to understand the timer in case I accidentally activate it, but if it’s working fine, there’s no need to fix it.

They come thoughtfully packaged with clear instructions, making assembly a breeze—only taking me 10 to 15 minutes at most. Just a heads up: you’ll need to provide two AAA batteries for the remote. The lighting they provide is excellent, and I love the complete adjustability of both color temperature and brightness. The dimming feature is smooth, with no flickering at all. The RF remote functions perfectly and can be paired with multiple lamps for broader control. My only minor complaint is that when the power goes out and comes back on, the lamps automatically turn on. Overall, these lamps are better made than many others I’ve encountered. I bought three lamps, and two of them lean slightly, meaning they’re not perfectly upright. However, they do a great job illuminating a room, come with a remote, and offer various color temperature settings. Overall, it’s a decent value for under $60, but don’t anticipate it being high-end.
